Go to Business!

Under the name Go to Business!, BUT offers a comprehensive programme aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and innovative thinking among its students from 2019. The programme is designed to provide students not only with theoretical knowledge but also with the practical skills needed to realise their entrepreneurial visions.

What are the benefits of the programme for students?

A key component of the programme is the teaching of the Business Idea Development and Reaalisation course, which is divided into two thematic university-wide liberal arts courses:

• Business Idea Development and Reaalisation I course
• Business Idea Development and Reaalisation II course

Another important component of the programme is the BUT Student Entrepreneurship Award competition, which is announced annually by the Rector of the BUT. The aim of the competition is to methodically support and motivate students to implement innovative entrepreneurial projects and support their further development. The best ideas are financially rewarded.

The Go to Business! programme is part of the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem contriBUTe, which creates an environment at BUT that supports creativity, collaboration and technology transfer between academia and business.
